NEWS . . . .

November 29, 2011  . . .  Antrim Selectmen released an Eolian-proposed operating agreement to the Antrim Planning Board the night before the November 30th  Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) hearing.   Antrim residents should read this proposed contract and compare it to the defeated Large Scale Wind Ordinance.   There are reports that Eolian Renewables LLC wants the Antrim Selectmen to sign an operating agreement in advance of the NHSEC application hearings this spring.

November  8, 2011  . . .
Antrim voters reject Article 1, a proposed Large Scale Wind Ordinance 501 to 309 developed by the Antrim Planning Board, and turn down Article 2, which asked whether to prohibit large scale wind facilities in the rural conservation district,  584 to 225.

Slide show of Lempster, NH project.   Towers in Antrim are expected to be as high as 475 feet,
though the project's details have yet to be submitted.  The slide show does a good job of showing the
size of the turbines, the roads conditions and widths, and views from both up close and in the distance.
